Second weekend of the North Wales Championships commenced and not really a good start to the day, after Karina nose dived down the stairs in Wetherspoons last night (her face looks like she’s done 10 rounds with Joe Calzage) and the Rugby result, I don’t think I’ve been asked by so many swimmers how the rugby went …….Little monsters!!!!
On the swimming side the Dragons have continued from last weekend. We had 38 swims, 30 PB’s, one Gold, two Silver, four Bronze and two 6t…h’s in the Finals.  Under the Lewis Duckworth Welsh qualifying times I think I have 10 more swims taking us to around 8 swimmers qualified, more than the club has ever achieved.
Some good swims from all swimmers including Holly Pemberton, Ben Northall, Kieran Morris and Cari Davies who all climbed out of their sick beds to record excellent swims.
Swims to note :- Dyfan Jones, Luc Jarzynski going head to head in the 100 Fly, finishing with a Gold and a Silver, Owen Jones in the 100 Fly reaching another Final.  100% PB’s from most swimmers but the swim of the day has to be Ethan Evans a 16 second PB and a Silver Medal in the 200 Fly.  Keep it up bring it on on the last day……………….
